Peking Handicraft Peonies and Blue and White Chinoiserie

Peking Handicraft has been working with artists and makers to bring beautiful home goods to the market since 1977.  Madcap Cottage and Sally Eckman Roberts are two of my favorites. Their chinoiserie pillows and rugs are just a delight!

The lavishly decorated Pretty Petals hooked rug and needlepoint pillow have chinoiserie pots and vases filled with blooming pink peonies with green leaves.

The Pretty Petals pillows are 16″ square. The back is velvet.

The coordinating Pretty Petals throw rug is 24″ x 36″.

These two wool needlepoint pillows feature traditional blue and white china. The teacup has an arrangement of peonies spilling out. The teapot is surrounded by flowers and leaves.

This cheerful pillow has a traditional blue and white teapot surrounded by leaves in shades of green, a large peony and other flowers in shades of peach, pink and red.

Peking Handicraft Chinoiserie Embroidered Pillows

Pink and white peonies in a Chinoiserie vase embroidered on a ramie cotton pillow are designed by Sally Eckman Roberts.

Peking Handicraft embroidered Pink Peonies pillows are 16″ x 16″. The fabric is 95% ramie, 5% cotton. The off-white fabric makes the white of the blue and white embroidery china stand out. The back has a zipper closure. A feather pillow insert is included.
