Pagoda Blue Reactive Glaze Ceramic Tea Infuser Mug
4.1″ wide x 6.2″ high
5.4″ to the handle
Holds 9.5 ozInspired by the beauty of traditional pagodas, our exclusive tea infuser mug adds global style to the heart of your home. This teatime essential’s all-in-one architectural design makes it simple to steep your favorite blends right in the mug. Made of stoneware with a rich navy-blue reactive glaze that makes every piece perfectly unique, it enhances your daily ritual with decorative detail.
The lid fits inside the top of the mug, so it is stable.
The reactive glaze allows the colors of the clay to show through.
The infuser has rather large holes.
Don’t pour the hot water over the tea in the infuser unless it is in a teabag. To use loose tea, put the hot water into the mug first, leaving space for the tea and infuser. Then put the tea-filled infuser into the mug to let it steep. That way the loose tea stays in the infuser. Once the tea has steeped (check the tea for the timing), remove the infuser without dumping the leaves.
A lid will keep the tea hotter longer. And it is adorable.
Pagoda Blue Reactive Glaze Ceramic Tea Infuser
1.75″ x 1.75″ wide x 5″ high
Inspired by the tiered beauty of traditional pagodas, our exclusive stoneware tea infuser is finished with a gorgeous navy-blue reactive glaze. Easy to fill and empty, this architectural tea steeper rests in your mug as it brews your favorite hot beverage. The artisan qualities of its textural detailing and rich reactive glaze make every single-serving tea infuser perfectly unique.
The metal infuser has smaller holes. You don’t have to be as careful with a metal infuser, but it works the same way.
Some instructions tell you to pour the hot water over the infuser, but I find that putting the water in first, then the infuser, I don’t end up with tea dust.
Whether you are going to use it for tea or not, these little pagodas are adorable.
