More Oval Blue Willow Flower Pots

Since the last post, I have found even more of the oval blue and white flower pots. I have seen them in magazine for years. I keep pinning them on Pinterest, so they keep showing me more.

They are called various things, foot baths, planters, balcony planters, oval planters.  Some are rectangular. Some are oval.

AA Importing has  sets of blue and white transferware porcelain oval versions. They call theirs foot baths. The measurements they give are 12” long. That is a foot, but I don’t think you could bathe your feet in it. They are 5.75” wide and 8.25” high. There is a blue and white transferware pattern outside while the inside is left bright white. They are all cast in the same mold, with handles on the ends.

They also have this set, with the detailed insides.

It is not an Asian pattern at all.

This piece has the same pattern in a different shape. It is oval, but not as elongated as the “foot bath” shape.

Esschert Design USA makes a Ceramic Balcony Planter in blue and white.

It has pretty mixed reviews, but if you read through them, they aren’t as bad as they seem. Why would you give a bad review for a product because it was broken in shipping? Or if you were sent the wrong product?

It is 15.5” long x 7.5” x 6” and made of ceramic. It has drainage holes, ideal on a porch or in the yard. I plug them to use in the house.
